Job Title: Application Consultant
Qualifications:
- Hive, Spark, Presto and similar tools for SQL-like exploration of large-scale data sets
- Build custom tools to automate day-to-day operational tasks.
- Responsible for setting the standards for our production environment.
- Good performance tuning skills
- Ability to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve live systems issues.
Skill, Experience & General information:
- Experience working in an Agile Development Software environment
- Trusted to work independently with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to execute projects and tasks with minimal guidance and supervision
- Excellent data gathering, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of AWS, Bigdata and Production Support
- Experience in Financial Services industry
